(a.k.a. The Beekeeping Apprentice)
Tate got into keeping bees at an early age, given that he is only 11 now. The Colorado seventh grader is very focused for someone of his youth. He is fairly certain that he’d like to be a translator for the military and no doubt beekeeping will be part of his life.
Tate took beekeeping classes along with his mother and together they keep two hives. The young beekeeper invited the Bee People crew to a hive inspection along with the Bee Guru in a key segment of the movie. Tate even took one for the team – a bee stung him right through his glove during the inspection – and like a real beekeeper would, he soldiered on.
